Dr Justin Lewis has worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist since 2007 with expertise in general adult psychiatry and a special interest in Occupational Psychiatry. He is an experienced medicolegal examiner and holds accreditation as a permanent impairment assessor. 

Dr Lewis’  clinical practice is  influenced by mindfulness, existential and insight-oriented based work. Psychological difficulties are viewed as an opportunity for personal growth and development with a strong emphasis on engendering hope, self-compassion and  empowerment.  

Dr Lewis maintains his continuing professional development through regular attendance at the professional education and training events, and maintains accreditation as an independent medical examiner with Worksafe and TAC. He has previously lectured in the Masters of Psychological Medicine program at Monash University and has published in the Journal of Paediatrics and Child Health.
